Hi Andrew, this is going back a bit as I haven’t had a screen on my car for 4 years now 🙂 However, I believe I’m correct when I say that you remove one of the screws the holds the screen in place, a replacement screw (supplied with the mount) then goes through the centre of the threaded part (which is hollow) and acts as a replacement to the screw you removed. There are some spacers supplied which means you can correctly tighten the mount onto the pillar. Then the Racetech mirror screws onto the threaded part, which sandwiches the adjustment ball joint and locks everything solid.
